The stables and buildings were built in the late 19th century by famous greyhound trainer , Edward Dent, from the money he earned from his winnings. Also known as ‘Neddy’ his greyhound ‘Fullerton’ won the waterloo cup (equivalent to the grand national ) 3 years in a row from 1890-1892.
